AILET(All India Law Entrance Test) is a prestigious and competitive exam conducted by National Law University Delhi for admission to law courses. NLU conducts entrance exams for undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD courses. Students who wish to be admission to prestigious law schools in the country can apply for AILET exams. Every year lakhs of students appear for law entrance exams to acquire admission to top law schools. AILET Eligibility Criteria

National Law University Delhi decides eligibility for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Eligibility for nationals and foreign nationals is quite distinct. Here is the detailed eligibility for the UG and PG programs:

    Exam pattern for L.L.B. (honours)

    Students applying for UG programs will have to appear for the UG pattern exam as follows:

    • ● The exam consists of multiple-choice questions that students have to complete within a given time frame.
    • ● The exam duration is 120 min for 150 marks. Students have to complete all the sections within the allocated time frame.
    • ● The three sections of the exam include:
      • ● Section A: English language 50 marks
      • ● Section B: Current Affairs and General Knowledge 30 marks Section C: Logical Reasoning 70 marks
    • ● Each question carries 1 mark and a negative marking of 0.25 will be deducted for every wrong answer.
    • ● If the candidates score the same marks, that candidate senior in age will be given preference.

    Exam pattern for LLM or PG program

    Here is the detailed analysis of the PG exam pattern:

    • ● The exam has multiple-choice questions and the duration is 120 minutes. Students have to complete all the exam questions in a given time frame.
    • ● Each question in the exam carries 1 mark.
    • ● The total number of questions is 100 in the exam.
    • ● 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong responses. If applicants skip questions, no marks will be deducted.

    AILET Application Process

    Candidates who wish to appear for the AILET exam must read the application form thoroughly and fill the application form with care. Following are the steps to follow to apply for AILET application:

    Step 1: Register yourself online on the official website of National Law University Delhi. Candidates need to click on the login option on the website. Also, fill out the candidate's name, age, parents' name, residence address, email, and phone number.
    Step 2: select Law course: National Law University provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and research courses so fill out the course you wish to apply
    The application must have details: Religion, Category ( reserved or general), Nationality, Exam centre, medium of communication, Educational details, and parent details.
    Step 3:signature should be done with black ink on white clear paper.
